AISI 6150 round bar
Alloy steel AISI 6150 is a chrome vanadium type spring steel bar with a small amount of vanadium added to effectively increase the hardness. AISI 6150 round stock steel has low deformation characteristics and is easy to heat treat. SAE 6150 round bar is suitable for oil quenching and tempering.
6150 steel round bar is usually supplied in a rolled state and has excellent wear and impact resistance. Hardened 6150 round metal bar has excellent toughness and impact resistance and becomes a spring or a component subjected to pressure, vibration and shock.
